What am I Looking At?
As a Cultural Partner of Art Basel Hong Kong 2026, First Initiative Foundation (FIF) has created a co-branded art guide for children and families to explore the wonderful artworks at the fair together. Simone Verde, Director of the Uffizi Galleries and FIF Museum Circle Member lent his expertise to ensure you can approach art with curiosity and confidence. The booklet is a tool that help people to look and question what they see. Let us begin to imagine, enjoy, and discover—not just the wonderful stories behind the artworks, but the different ways we can look at art, ourselves, and the world around us.
Stay curious, there's more to discover.
Every artwork has a story waiting just for you. FIF is here to help you find more stories in every artwork.
Remember: in art, there are no wrong answers, just new ways of seeing.
